Seesaw for Schools: K-4

Seesaw is a platform for student engagement. Students can create, collaborate, and reflect all in one app. It's super easy for parents to get connected to student accounts to see what their children are doing as well.

Teachers in our district have been utilizing Seesaw so much in our elementary schools, we have been able to purchase Seesaw for Schools for our K-4 teachers. 5-12 teachers can continue (or start!) using the free Seesaw features, which are still super robust and powerful.

As you can see from the graphic above, Seesaw for Schools comes with the ability to add 20 teachers per class, schedule your assignments, have unlimited activities, and add things to your Schoolwide Activity Library. If you are a K-4 teacher, your account should have already been upgraded to these features. Log in to check it out. This year, the features have been added to your existing class, but next year, your students and classes should be imported in August so that you're ready to go!

If you are a K-4 teacher, and you have not yet used Seesaw, check out the Getting Started Guide  for your grade level.

One of the the things I love about Seesaw is the Activity Library. Easily sorted by grade and subject, it gives you pre-made activities to try with your students that act like task cards with step-by-step instructions. Another thing I love is the ease at which students can self reflect. Reflection is one of the most powerful tools in our toolbox and good practice for any activity, and Seesaw makes it incredibly easy for students to do that.

Give Seesaw a try if you haven't! Or if you need help getting started, please feel free to reach out to us individually or through your liaison so we can get your class going.
