School Communication Applications - Which One is Best for You?

Parent and student communication - How do we get (and remain) on the same page?

Luckily, in today's digital world, educators have many options for easily communicating with parents and students about reminders, assignments, and changes to the syllabus. School-Communication Apps, such as Remind, provide teachers with a platform for active and safe communication. As educators set off on their journey of the 2019-2020 school year, how do they choose which communication tools are best suited for specific learners in their classroom?

From discussions with a wide variety of teachers, at different levels, I found the importance of truly finding an efficient way to communicate with parents AND students. With events, lives outside of school, assignments, and absences, Remind provides a straightforward way to directly communicate with parents and students, along with the benefit of announcements, photo and video sharing, read receipts, and language translation.

Remember, all levels and students have different needs, so identify your needs first, and then choose what resource fits students best!

Visit Remind to explore for yourself! Other communication apps not discussed are: Bloomz, Simply Circle, Class 123, Living Tree, and Seesaw.
